In this flight review, we will show our personal experience with Citilink Dining Experience. In addition, we also engage Joumpa Airport VIP Service to ease our check-in and boarding processes. We will fly from Soekarno-Hatta Airport (CGK), Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia to Kualanamu International Airport (KNO), Medan, North Sumatra. The flight was reviewed during March 2021 before the fasting period.
I was expecting Airbus A330 Neo for this flight route. However, it was an Airbus A320. I was quite disappointed, but this should not discourage me to continue.
I believe the cut-off time for the reservation is 48 hours before flights. We paid an additional price of IDR499,000 for the whole Citilink Dining Experience on top of the ticket price. Also in a A320 flight, the service only limits 5 dining experience passengers per flight. Citilink Dining Experience also have minimum flight time of 100 minutes. In addition, we also get extra 200 Garuda Miles for booking this service.
Citilink Check-in & Security Experience
Previously, the Citilink occupied Terminal 2 of Soekarno Hatta Airport (CGK) for Domestic and International Flights. Due to COVID-19, Citilink moves to Terminal 3 of Soekarno Hatta Airport. Therefore, Citilink passenger can expect better airport and service quality.
For faster experience, drop off at Gate 3 or 4 from the car, and head to row E for check-in.

Citilink Dining Experience comes with Joumpa Airport VIP Service. This service provides Airport Fast Track and Meet & Greet Services. In order to expedite the process, we will need the following.
- Identity Documents (KTP or Passport)
- Rapid Antigen or PCR Test as per Citilink website
Upon reaching, we don’t have to worry about checking in. The Joumpa representatives meet us at Row E and presented our already-printed boarding pass.
After dropping-off our baggage, we are escorted to Sky Priority security lane. NICE! This is equivalent to Garuda Indonesia’s Business class privilege.
Airport Lounge, Waiting, Boarding Experience
The Domestic side of Soekarno-Hatta Airport Terminal 3 seems more livelier than the International side. Airlines are picking up more passengers with COVID-19 Vaccines rolled out recently. The cases in Indonesia also start to go down.

Joumpa service does not come with any Lounge access. Therefore, we used our Priority Pass to enter SAPHIRE APS BLUE SKY LOUNGE. It is located next to Gate 18. The lounge is adequate, not fantastic but good enough to have a better seat and separated from the crowds.
We are assigned gate 25, which means we needed to take bus to the gate. Normally, we would take the buggy to the flight.

While waiting for the flights, we fill in e-HAC domestic. This will save time upon arrival on destination airport. e-HAC is a requirement for Domestic Travels. Without it, we are not able to enter another city.
We are the first passengers to enter the flight. The Joumpa representative will escort us directly to the flight for priority boarding.

Seat & Dining Experience
We chose window seat (of course). Without this Citilink Dining Experience, you would have to pay if you were to choose for a seat. Another great value here.
Unlike its parent company Garuda Indonesia, Citilink does not enforce blocked seat for the middle seat. The flight was quite full, being the row 10 onwards has full load. The flight took off on time, which is great.

We ordered steak for this meal. It comes with potatoes, cherry tomato, baby corn and mushroom sauce. The taste is not bad. It is quite a different feel having a real plate on economy class seats. The cake seems to be the same one from economy class meal catering, just that this is presented on a plate.


Arrival & Check-in Baggage Experience
As we use Joumpa service, we are also greeted by Joumpa representative upon Arrival. They were waiting by the jet bridge for this experience.

Be prepared to show e-HAC Domestic QR Code once you reach the terminal building. Download the application: e-HAC Playstore or e-HAC Apple App Store to save some hassle. Without the application, you will need to fill in the physical form, wasting additional time.

Afterwards, we can pickup our Baggage and enjoy our trip.
