We have expanded VTL list for Singapore. Finally more countries opened to travel to Singapore and the countries list is quite extensive.
Travellers must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 with any vaccine in the World Health Organisation (WHO) Emergency Use List.
Furthermore, all travellers entering Singapore must comply with Singapore’s public health and immigration requirements.

Singapore Airlines came up with a teaser for their upcoming VTL destinations.
Fully-vaccinated travellers can now enjoy multi-country itineraries between Singapore and the expanded list of VTL countries.
With the VTL, there will be no restrictions on your purpose of travel, with fuss-free testing upon your arrival to Singapore. Which destination would you like to visit first?
This is such a surprise, knowing the fact that Singapore is experiencing highly rapid increase in community cases.
We welcome this quarantine-free announcement as a light at the end of the tunnel.

Key Points on VTL
Essentially you can start travelling now! This is because they already accepted Full-vaccinated travellers!
What VTL does is basically initiating TWO-WAY quarantine-free travel. Hence, if you start travelling now, you could come back by the time 19 October 2021 comes.
Additionally, here are some key points you need to take note for the VTL.
- Basically, you have to stay 14 days within any of the VTL Countries.
- Travel to Singapore only on designated VTL flights.
3,0004000 travellers cap per day.- Must be fully vaccinated in Singapore or your VTL country of origin (28 days after second dose).
- Children under 12 are not eligible.
- Visitors and Singapore pass holders must apply for a VTP in advance (important).
- COVID-19 PCR testing replaces quarantine / Stay-Home Notice in Singapore.
- Only two PCR tests involved. (Pre-departure & Singapore arrival)
Simplified Testing for VTL
Day 3 and Day 7 tests will finally cease to exist saving you about S$200.
These 2 additional days are in fact a huge hinderance for travellers considering VTL.

From 19 October 2021, Singapore will simplify the testing regime for inbound passengers on VTL.

Four Singapore Airlines flights will depart from Vancouver to Singapore weekly for the first time since 2009. These flights are in fact seasonal, and run between 2 December 2021 to 15 February 2022.
