Indonesia VTL is finally here! Indonesia joins Vaccinated Travel Lane scheme with Singapore for quarantine-free travel. This starts on 29 November 2021.
Air traffic between Indonesia and Singapore is undoubtedly one of the heaviest traffic for International Flights pre-COVID days. It could amount to about 30+ flights per day.

Currently, there is only one designated VTL flight from Jakarta to Singapore which is SQ953 which runs daily using Boeing 777-300ER
PLEASE NOTE: Indonesia has not allowed travellers from Singapore to be free from quarantine. You will still need to quarantine for 3 days. Mr Iswaran said Indonesia VTL will be a unilateral vaccination travel lane for now. This means a two-way quarantine free travel is still not available yet.

VTL Requirements
As per other VTL, one of the most important requirement is surely to have ourselves fully-vaccinated.

Indonesia Quarantine Requirements
You will still need to undergo quarantine for 3 days without a doubt even you fully-vaccinated. Additionally, we have a list of the quarantine hotels in Jakarta. Albeit an outdated one.

VTLs have been disappointing so far since all the VTL flights do not qualify for EconomyLite or ineligible for Saver. For business any kind of redemptions are straight up missing for VTL.
