South Korea VTL is STILL a two way quarantine free travel in the latest update due to Omicron. The new rule takes effect starting from 3 December 2021.
All international arrivals to South Korea will have to undergo quarantine for 10 days. This does not apply for those from Singapore on VTL.
“VTL travel arrangement would proceed without change at the moment,” the South Korea Embassy wrote in a notice.
Firstly, if you are South Korean citizens and foreigners on long-term stay, you can spend your quarantine at home.
Otherwise, foreigners on short-term stay will have to undergo quarantine at a temporary facility designated by the government.

Omicron Variants Rapid Development
Singapore previously imposed additional Antigen Rapid Test for VTL travellers on Day 3 and Day 7 upon arrival. We had covered this quite extensively through the article below.
Furthermore, apart from South Korea VTL, Singapore also came up with update on the VTL, specifically middle east VTL. This Omicron variants evidently disrupting travels around the world.
How Long South Korea Bans Arrival Update
This rule will remain in effect for two weeks until 17 December 2021 provided that everything is under control.
As this variant of concern just started, we believe that two weeks period might not be the end of the tunnel yet.

How to Cancel Booked Singapore Airlines VTL Flight
Fortunately, you can cancel your flight without additional fee, thanks to Singapore Airlines’ complimentary rebooking policy (fare differences may apply).
However, If you book through a travel agency or partner airline, you will in fact need to contact them directly for assistance. Specifically for this, amendments or cancellations.
